The Need to Know – Always
Since we created Apollo – 20+ years ago, we have come up with one of two great ‘strap lines’ for what we do and ‘The Need to Know’ was one of them on the basis that once you know, you know.
You see, you understand and make a decision to do something…or not, but at least it’s based on real time data. In the same way that football manager would use data to monitor the performance of the team on the pitch, the Apollo EDGE platform does the same thing. Stick, twist or fold.
The illustration here is the Global Semi conductor universe. The price movements tell a story but the Factor is proprietary Apollo data that tells whether the market is attributing Growth, Re-rating, Value or (and not relevant here) De- rating.
This watch list is ranked by Factor. Predominantly Growth and Re-rating which as an investor is what you want to know and see and is co-incident with the data to the right. The 3 month discount rate investors are awarding the stock is falling, hence the share prices are rising. The 1 month change in Fair Value and Intrinsic Value is rising / trending higher, which is symptomatic of growth.
Despite the recent price performance, only three stocks have a signal suggesting further upside might be capped at this point. Intel, Lam Research and ASML. Now you know more than you did when you started reading this..
